June 2018: Boris Bukh is visiting the Bézout Labex, hosted by Xavier Goaoc, for one month. He is associate professor at the mathematics department of Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburg. He is a specialist of various aspects of combinatorics. He will work with Xavier Goaoc on geometric partitioning problems, pattern avoidance in order-types and questions in incidence geometry arising from computer vision. Professors Boris Bukh and Artem Zvavitch will meet at a colloquium Maths-Info on June 5th, 2018.
