August 2017: Carsten Carstensen is visiting for a month. He is interested in the design and the mathematical foundation of adaptive algorithms and novel discretization schemes such as discontinuous Petrov Galerkin schemes in computational partial differential equations and the applied and numerical analysis of nonlinear phenomena in mechanics.
